I came across an interesting post recently. It is an open letter to Wedding Bloggers and is from a photographer. The basic issue raised in the article is that wedding bloggers only feature:

Before you commit to hiring a photographer it is wise to confirm their insurance status. This shouldn't be a big deal but it is worth doing. Remember having insurance is no reason to hire a photographer and having no insurance is a reason not to hire one.
