2 Nikon Cameras Stolen in Cork – Update

These cameras have been recovered. Please be on the look out for two Nikon cameras ( D3 and D3s) as well as two lenses, a 24-70 and 80-200, which were stolen in Cork yesterday afternoon. News organisations forced to hand over images to police

The courts in Northern Ireland have ruled that journalists working during the recent riots must hand over unseen photographs and footage.  Judge Grant, Belfast County Court, rejected claims by lawyers working for the news organisation that it was a "fishing expedition" and said that there was no evidence of an increased threat to journalists following previous disclosure of footage. Durkin cuts a dash at Kilbeggan

  Congratulations to Longford photographer Claire Durkin who Friday evening swopped the camera for the glad rags and was placed among the top five Best Dressed Ladies at the Gigginstown House Midlands National. Paul Sherwood was on the course to capture Claire and the other winners.
