The photo was taken about 35 miles from there. The precise place has been determined by identifying the mountain range in the photo’s background. The professor says there was no fighting near there at that time, and concludes that Capa staged the photo.

You can submit an image to TinEye to find out where it came from, how it is being used, if modified versions of the image exist, or to find higher resolution versions. TinEye is the first image search engine on the web to use image identification technology rather than keywords, metadata or watermarks.

Today I got a cheque for almost 2000 Euro for printing & framing work by another photographer who very kindly gave his client a DVD with no photographers name to be found. I wonder what the photographer thought his client was going to do with the RAW files!
