The second part of Lynda and Michael John’s wedding took place in Ballinora, just outside Cork city. Lynda grew up in Ballinora, and indeed it’s a place close to my own heart as it’s where my wife hails from also, and where I am based at least half of the weekends that I visit Cork.

Just a sneak peak from a wedding I photographed on 29th April. Wedding took place in Co Meath, Ireland.
I love this image. It says happiness and spring with a hint of summer.
By the way it’s not confetti but the blossoms coming off a magnificent cherry blossom.
There was a breeze but it wasn’t good enough so a few family members gave a few branches a good shake. I wish I had ...

As some of you are well aware, I hale from Northern parts, and seeing as I had a free long weekend of no bookings, I decided to return home and show off Northern Ireland to Dee.

Six-Year-Old Photographer

A couple of months ago, I watched a documentary about a young teenage boy who was shooting paparazzi photographs in LA. I think he was 14 or so. He was holding his own in that business as well, making regular sales and running a network of informants. I was both impressed and disturbed. I mean, a 14-year-old paparazzi?
Well, today it gets worse.
This photograph appeared in The Irish Independent today as ...

Which is unlike the antique ones that were made at the Westmoreland Glass company near Greensburg, Pennsylvania where I grew up. I ...
