A recent edition of Utah's Standard Examiner featured a page one photograph that was manipulated by the photographer. Often photographers, as appears in this case, aren't aware how simple manipulations undermine the value of photojournalism as bearing witness. Boards.ie Photobook 2012

Just a quick note on the 2012 Boards.ie PhotoBook. For the fourth year members of the Boards.ie Photography Forum have gotten together to produce a photobook. The book can be previewed and purchased online with a donation to charity included in the price. More details about the book here

At the Open Coffee yesterday Martin Maher mentioned a very interesting programme he had come across on BBC 4. Entitled "Picture Power" it features five interviews with leading press photographers covering events like the Tottenham Riots, The Royal Wedding and the Tour de France. Check it out here
