We recently introduced “Real Weddings“.  Wedding photographers who have a premium or power listing with us are free to upload as many Real Weddings as they wish. These weddings are tagged and linked to the venue and the hotel. Already we are beginning to see results. The images are being posted on the Venue Facebook Pages and Google is finding them when it crawls our site.

I was recently doing some SEO work on the site. As an experiment I did a Google search typing in “Ravensdale Photographer” and up popped in Number 1 position a Real Wedding by Michael Hayes uploaded to photographers.ie.

This is how Real Wedding’s have real power. Each wedding uploaded owns a certain search and you never know when that search will be found. It is not unrealistic to expect somebody getting married in St Mary’s, Ravensdale to search for images of the church and for the time being Michael Hayes has a good chance of being found. This can be applied to every church and venue across Ireland. And the more Real Weddings you upload the stronger your web presence.

Get uploading those Real Weddings. Just because they are FREE doesn’t mean they are worthless – do not under estimate their power. Your wedding images combined with our search engine optimisation gives you a good return for no extra cost.

As a result of this success we will be shortly introducing a showcase platform for other photographers to display their work.
