Blow Magazine, which will launch it’s first official issue next month is currently looking for entries to their two competitions, one Editorial and one Single Image.
The Editorial competition calls for a submission of four to eight images with the winner having their picture narrative published. Their Single Image competition is for one image to be published. Check out their website for details of the competition.
Closing date is next week.

Surprised to see that they are charging for submissions to their competition, especially as they are a start up! Plus nothing on their website as to who is behind it.
Interesting concept, phographers pay money to provide images to a magazine which is being sold at €16 a pop. No terms and conditions, normally competitions involve rewards of some kind but sorry to say that to me it looks like anybody submitting images will be on a loser. I’d love to hear more from the publishers http://whois.domaintools.com/blowphotomagazine.com
Hi Kieran, just to clarify, the price of the mag is €10 (issue #03) previous ones you can get for 5,6,7 euro, depending on the issue and on the package. (If you buy online you need to pay postage obviously) If you prefer to get it in the shop check the website out to see where it is available. And secondly there is no charge for submitting your work within for the competition, the prize is being published in the mag (the winner does not have to match the theme of the issue). Hope it helps! All the best!
