Getting Married – Choosing your date

With all the sport on the television at the moment I began to think about the importance of choosing a wedding date carefully. If it is avoidable it is best not to go up against a Cup Final, Grand National or Big Boxing Bout.

So here’s an idea – guys are (in general) more into sport than ladies – so why not delegate the checking of sporting events to the Groom and his Best Man. This will give them a feeling of being involved in the preparations and an excuse to check the sporting diaries. If they get it right you will have no clash for the sporting fans at your wedding and if they get it wrong  – well they get it wrong – at least you tried.

So to assist you in this task here are some sporting dates in the future

Rugby World Cup – Sept/Oct 2011

Olympic Games – 297th July – 12th Aug 2012

Euro 2012 – June/July 2012

Heinken Cup -  2010/2011
