Wordpress Logo for Word Press Ireland

This weekend I spent two really productive days at Word Camp Ireland.  The event had three track seminars covering such topics from “Writing a Blog” to “Search Engine Optimisation”.  All in all I came away assured that moving The Irish Photographers Website to a WordPress platform was the correct decision as it allows us to introduce a number of features that will assist photographers and suppliers in their working lives.

The latest version sees us using cutting edge technology which helps deliver a clean and easily navigated website.  New features also help with your “Google Juice” and makes it easy to integrate The Irish Photographers Website with your existing social media strategies.  Already we have gotten lots of good feedback from photographers and clients who have taken the time to log in.   The Phase 2, due in a matter of weeks, will see more innovations which will assist you serve your clients better.  These are challenging times for photographers and suppliers but we are confident that the new photographers.ie site will assist everyone market more effectively in 2010.   With two new listing levels for photographers and a complete revision of the options for suppliers no other medium offers the Irish photographic industry better value for their marketing spend.
