Petrol may be expensive @ over 1.30 Euro per litre
Red Bull/Bottled Water is over 5 Euro per litre
Perfume/Face Cream is over 350 Euro per litre
But Ink for your inkjet printer tops the chart at over 600 Euro per litre.
These prices are based on buying small bottles/cartridges.

I’am glad you’ve flagged this up. Why anybody does their own printing is beyond me. My local pro lab can do it at a fraction of the cost. Frees up my time allowing me more time behind the camera or improving my editing skills at the Mac. The ground has been constantly shifting under photographers feet for so long now, why add another headache. Printing is a skill and its presumptuous for us to think we can master it easily. An inkjet is no excuse for a professionally produced print. Leave printing to the printers and keep searching for that image in a lifetime we’re all striving for…
