Photographer injured in ‘freak’ site accident dies

A site photographer who was injured in an accident on a building site in Mitchelstown, Co Cork, has died at Cork University Hospital.
The man in his 50s was injured last weekend when the hoist he was on collapsed in what local gardaĆ called a freak accident.
The man, who was employed by roads contractor Roadbridge, had been photographing work at a new roundabout under construction on the Mitchelstown relief road.
