Farrell scoops the overall Photograph of the Year Award at Connacht Sportswriters Association Awards

Western People staff photographer, David Farrell, LIPPA, scooped the overall
Photograph of the Year Award at last week’s Connacht Sportswriters
Association Awards dinner held in conjunction with the Connacht G.A.A.
Council in Castlebar. David was presented with a specially engraved Galway
Crystal trophy The winning picture was of Mayo footballer Conor Mortimer in
jubilant mood after scoring his first-ever championship goal for his county
against Roscommon in the Connacht Football championship last summer.
